EMART Asia - Dates announced

At the recent EMART Asia 2011 in November, everyone agreed that energy trading in Asia is set to continue its tremendous growth, both in the physical and financial markets, and there is a clear need for better price benchmarks and greater liquidity.  The LNG market attracted the most attention, especially with the planned terminals in Malaysia and Singapore coming online in 2012 and 2013.

Mark your diary:  23 – 24 October 2012

We are proud to announce that once again EMART Asia will be the anchor energy trading forum at the Singapore International Energy Week in 2012.  EMART Asia 2012 will take place from 23 – 24 October 2012 in Singapore.

Based on your feedback, some of the topics that we will focus on in 2012 will include:

  • LNG trading, spot market development and price benchmarking
  • Regulatory developments in ensuring healthy competition in energy trading
  • Impact of derivatives trading on the physical market
